Terms
Domain Registration
Registration is done on your behalf with one of the leading registration providers, the domain will be registered in your name, we will forward any access passwords and usernames to you so that you have control should you want it. We do not hold our clients to ransom by holding on to control of the domain.
Web Designs
Exnisus will retain the copyrights and intellectual property rights of any designs, files, code, images, photos, or other material created or supplied by exnisus.
Upon completion and settlement of the account the code for the website will be provided (usualy on a CD). If you have chosen to have your website hosted by another provide we will make every effort to make the transfer quick and easy.
Hosting and Service package
Please be aware that if you wish to transfer from our hosting during the maintenance contracted term we will fully co-operate and supply all the current files for you to set up on another host server, the process of switching is then a matter of repointing the domain to your new DNS servers, however as we have to pay in advance for our server space and support, we are unable refund money paid for the outstanding time on our maintenance agreement.
Accounts
A retainer / commissioning fee may be required this will normaly be to cover initial outlay such as domain registration and as a deposit against the design work. The balance is only required upon completion of the website design and coding. An invoice will be provided at this time, prompt payment is appreciated, extended credit terms are not available.
Legal Bits
All website design and code will remain the property of Exnisus Web Design untill full and final payment is made. Upon payment the ownership of the code will pass to the client when this code will be made available either in printed form or on a CD ROM. The overall design of any website remains the interlectual property of Exnisus Web Design and may be used in full or in part at any time by Exnisus Web Design, unless a specific commisiong contract is entered into prior to work comencing, specifying that the full rights to the final design are included in the agreed price.
Design specifications and content provided by the client may be subject to edit and amendment by Exnisus Web Design to provide a website within the constraints at the time, such as space, estetics or financial, and may excersis editorship as they see fit.
Exnisus Web Design will retain all interlectual property rights to any original images, graphics and photographs produced or provided by Exnisus Web Design.
Website hosting of all websites is provided by a third party, every effort is made to select reputible, experienced suppliers however there is always a risk of malfunction or failure, such incidents are out of our control, we can not accept any liability for such occurances.
Domain renewal will be the responsibility of the client, many providers have an option for automatic renewal, "exnisus" recommend that this be taken up to prevent the loss of your domain.
